My top products to travel with
As I prep for India I thought I would share my favourite products to travel with. These products are ones I regular use to support my physical, mental, emotional and hormonal health.
Probotic - Happy gut. I take probiotics when I'm not mentally strong, I am going into a stressful period, my immune system is weak or I am going away. Often when we get sick on holiday it is just down to having different gut bacteria so I have started taking mine 3 weeks prior and will take them after depending how my gut feels. I got these ones the BF sales and it's my first time traveling with them so will report back. I like them because it is a pre and pro biotic mix and you don't need to keep them in the fridge.
Electrolytes - Hydration. This winter I have really been focusing on my hydration and making sure my body is receiving all the goodness it needs from my liquid intake. Without proper electrolyte levels, the body struggles with energy production, digestion, and even stress management. They are also very important for hormone health (but I think thats for another email). These Ancient and Brave electrolytes are clean and perfect for traveling. I am also taking their collagen ones as I won't be eating meat and doubt I will be eating optimal protein levels so just for a mini top up.
Activated Charcoal - Digestive upset. If you haven't ever used charcoal so tummy upsets go and buy some now. It is a constant staple in my 'medicine' cabinet. It is great for bloating, acid reflux (charcoal is like a sponge and absorbing the excess gas), tummy upsets and diarrhoea. Where Imodium blocks you up- just ask your self do you really want what your body is trying to get rid to be stuck in your body? Charcoal works by binding it all together.
Immune Tablets - Theres nothing worse than getting ill just before your holiday or during the flight. I always, depending on my week leading up start taking immune boosting supplements, if not I defiantly take them the day before I fly double dose on the flight and for the few days post. I love these ones for travelling, convent to travel with. These are also great if you feel anything coming on + mosquitos hate garlic it.
Deodorant - This one is my go to but it doesn't travel very well in the heat so I will be borrowing my husbands AKT deodorant. I have been using natural deodorant for 7+ years now after finding out what is in your average deodorant. This for me is a massive and very important toxin free swap, so your hormone health, general health and cancer prevention. It is something we speak about in Replenish Reset - my 3 week hormonal cleanse.
Balm - Hydrated skin. DYK we lose 8% of our hydration on a 10 hour flight. As soon as I get on I spritz my face with rose water and apply a thick layer of a balm. I normally take this one as its travel size friendly, simple ingredient making it suitable for other things and its thick. I leave the flight with skin as fresh as that when I boarded.
Tooth Brush - The world's best toothbrush, big statement but true I should get commission for the amount of people I rave about these too. When my old electric toothbrush needed to be retired, I had been so fed up of the contrast need to charge, its bulk, its noise. So I did some research and it was around the time Suri started so I bought one as part of their start up. Its light, quiet, slim lined, comes with a travel case which has an UV light to zap away any bacteria your tooth brush may of picked up. The best part I charge it every 6 weeks if that doesn't make you purchase…
